WordPress Platform

By now you may have heard of the WordPress platform and how great or how terrible it is (depending on who you talk to). If you have taken a second to review our portfolio, you’ll instantly know that we are of the former camp: big time in love with WordPress. In fact, about 95% of the websites we’ve built since 2006 are built on the WordPress platform.

First, let’s address the elephant in the room: the WordPress haters. This group is shrinking in numbers but they do exist and we completely acknowledge them. That’s right. We’re not here to tell anyone they’re wrong or minimize their experience. If you find yourself having nightmares of difficult page and plugin updates, slow loading front-ends and even the dreaded white screens-of-death, we acknowledge and feel your pain. Trust us: we’ve been there.

We’ve been in business for a long time and have examined countless logic-defying, ulcer-inducing WordPress sites that are wrought with issues. We have yet to find a single instance where the WordPress platform itself is actually the problem. Time and time again, we find that the real root of the problem lies with the way WordPress has either been implemented or maintained.

WordPress is a tool. When used properly, it can improve efficiency, enable control over your online messaging and generally make life that much easier. When used improperly, it produces the exact opposite and worse.

Where we excel as WordPress engineers is knowing our tool inside and out. Every project is structured in a manner which maximizes WordPress’ strengths and works around its weaknesses. We know how to build scopes of work to guarantee success. Our knowledge and experience coupled with an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction makes C1 STUDIOS an ideal partner for both those currently gleefully basking in the warmth of the WordPress sun and those who find themselves still doubtful and hiding in the shade.
